JONES, Regena D. P. “Jean” (Niagara Falls)

JONES, Regena “Jean”- November 9, 1924- July 22, 2012
With heavy hearts and great sadness, Regena’s daughters’ Wendy and Pat rejoice in the peaceful passing of their mother. Beloved wife of the late Alan (2004). Loving and dearly loved mother of Wendy Foulis, Patricia and Brian Antonio, Pamela Kono Jones and son Adrian. Adored Nana of Krista and Nicole Foulis, Victoria and Brett Antonio, Rachel Jones, the late Clinton Jones (1983) and Douglas Kono Jones. Great Grand-Nana of Matthew, Ayden and Rhegan Jones. In Jean’s eyes, these were her greatest accomplishments in life. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She devoted her life to her family. She lived a full life, travelling extensively around the world with her husband Alan. They had many enjoyable winters at their home in Florida and summers on their boat docked at Port Dalhousie (The Genie), at which many happy family times were spent. Many many thanks to all the wonderful and caring staff at Millennium Trail Manor. The loving care she received for the last two years was excellent. The names of the truly caring and compassionate people who supported her are far too many to list. Thank you to Palliative Care for making her passing so peaceful and special, far beyond what we ever expected. We are happy she suffers no longer. Rest in peace, we love you Mom.
Cremation has taken place. Burial at sea for Jean and Alan will take place on Friday morning. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at Millennium Trail Manor, 6861 Oakwood Drive on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 2:30 – 5 pm. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s society through Morse & Son Funeral Home.
